RetroRunner beta 2.1 is a unified launcher designed to keep your classic and modern systems in one streamlined place. Use the sidebar to pick a system, then configure your emulators and libraries. At the moment I have no idea when Ill let you guys choose the directory of your games, but right now I have to have you guys just use the ROMs folder in Documents of your device.

Each plugins provide a sliver of my childhood to me as a kid, as of 2026 I am 18 years old and I love retro games. My father was a retro gamer and got me into it at a young age. I respect him for that since modern games are trash for the most part dont live up to any expectations anymore. The integrated terminal lets you run setup scripts, diagnostics, and custom commands without leaving the UI. This is a stretch depending on the verison you use. If you use the earliest version of the app then I almost garuntee nothing will work at all unless you miraculiously make it so

This is starting out as a research project for my Computer Programming class. It will be a bigger development if I find the time for this in college. Gotta get that Softare Engineering degree if I wanna make money and live. Like I always say, "Suffer and work hard now, live in luxery later."
